From Assessment
to Care

A Straightforward Path to the Support
You Need

If you’re eligible for government-funded care or moving forward privately, our seamless 1–2–3 process guides you from assessment to personalized planning, and consistent, reliable in-home support.

OUR CARE PROGRAMS

At Affordable Home Caregivers, we support families across Calgary and the surrounding region through a variety of service programs — from government-funded supports to specialized care pathways for veterans, rural communities, and families seeking private, flexible care.

Get Started in
3 Simple Steps:

1. Government Assessment

If you’re accessing government-funded home care (Blue Cross CDHCI or Veterans Care), the first step is a professional assessment to determine eligibility, funding, and care hours. Call 811 or 403-943-1920 and speak with Alberta Community Care Access (they are the dedicated homecare team who arranges your assessment).

2. Personalized Care Planning

Once your eligibility and care needs are assessed by the government nursing team, our team then works with you and your family to design a tailored care plan built around your goals, daily living needs, health requirements, and schedule.

3. Start Your Care Services

We match you with a skilled, compassionate caregiver and begin services promptly — ensuring reliability and comfort from day one.
